New PDR Glue Pulling video
Its been four years since the first glue pulling video was released. Since then, a lot has been learned. In addition, there is a lot more of seeing pulls and the knockdown action from my perspective.
Here’s what you’re about to see:
- Glue types – which is best?
- Tabs – which ones to use for which dents
- Alcohol – what to use, what not to – and why
- Sanding a pull
- Temperature what’s hot, what’s cold and how to change it
- More “You See What I See” footage on real hail dents!
- Soft, sharp and near a line
- Blending – what it is and why you need it
I should also mention how very uncomfortable it was reliving this film while editing.
It feels like walking around the hospital corridors wearing an open backed gown. Every one can see my backside.
You will see me work and work on a dent that really never did come out to satisfaction.
Watching this, I want you to see how we are not always successful in our attempts at repair. If you are even a slight perfectionist, you will feel the same discomfort many times in PDR.
You will also have to deal with your feelings of not good enough. There will always be the moment when you have to walk away from a dent.
Watch the video and see how many pulls it takes to get me to leave one alone.
The answer may surprise you.
